Verona Tops LaFollette To Improve To 2-0 In Prep Football Season | Schools

The Verona High School football team improved to 2-0 on the season after handing a second loss to Madison LaFollette on Friday night at Lussier Stadium.

Lafollette's Nick Anderson did manage a big play to Justin Tobias on the swing pass and Tobias turned on the jets scoring on a 51-yard touchdown early in Friday night's matchup.

But Verona had it going all night, including a 13-yard touchdown to Brian Woods on a double handoff trick play.

The Wildcats defeat the Lancers 55-24.
