Boys arrested for attacking teen, stealing headphones | News
Two boys, ages 13 and 14, are accused of stealing another teen?s headphones and beating him when he asked to get them back.
Police said one of the boys took a pair of expensive headphones from the 17-year-old victim?s ears at the East Transfer Point on Corporate Drive Monday evening.
The two boys ran, and the victim caught up to them and asked for his headphones back. They refused and punched him in the head and body multiple times, police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for head injuries and possible bruised or broken ribs.
Police said the boys tried to flee when they were found on Schenk Street walking with other teens. The headphones were recovered.
The 13-year-old was arrested on suspicion of theft, battery, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The 14-year-old was arrested on suspicion of theft, battery and disorderly conduct.
