Woman reports armed burglary, assault | News

A 30-year-old Madison woman told police two masked men armed with handguns entered her apartment Wednesday morning and took her money.

She also said one of the men sexually assaulted her.

Madison police said the door of the apartment, in the 2100 block of North Stoughton Road, was left open, and the men woke up the victim after 12:30 a.m.

Both men are described as black, age 30 to 35 years old, and wearing dark clothing with hoods over their heads and black bandanas over their face.
