DCHS Offers Sweetest Day Adoption Special | Pets

The Dane County Humane Society is hoping families will celebrate Sweetest Day by making a special adoption.

To help families find their new sweetheart, DCHS is offering 50 percent off adoption fees for all adult and senior cats and all senior dogs from Friday, Oct. 14 through Sunday, Oct. 16.

"Senior pets have a lot of life and love to give. They are generally well-trained and tend to be calmer than their younger counterparts," said Gayle Viney, Public Relations Coordinator for DCHS, in a news release.

REDUCED ADOPTION FEES:

• Adult cat (age 6 months and older) only $20 (normally $40)
• Senior cat (7 yrs and older) only $10 (normally $20)
• Senior dog (7 yrs and older) only $88 (normally $175)
