Photo Gallery | Olbrich To Raise Fees At Bolz Conservatory

The Olbrich Botanical Garden's tropical Bolz Conservatory celebrated its 20th anniversary in November, and in almost 20 years the fee to enter this lush tropical escape has been only $1, according to officials.

The conservatory admission fee will be raised to $2 for visitors age 6 and over starting on Tuesday, Jan. 2.

Olbrich officials said they will continue offer free admission to children ages 5 and under, and free to everyone on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon.

Olbrich’s 16 acres of outdoor gardens, which remain open in the winter, are always free. Olbrich members enjoy free admission to the Conservatory among many other benefits. Standard fees may change during selected special events, such as Olbrich’s Blooming Butterflies.
